CDO ICT Council and PCCI partners with IBPAP in Shoe Box Project distribution
CAGAYAN DE ORO — CDO ICT Business Council, in partnership with Philippine Call Center Institute-CDO and IBPAP, held a shoebox distribution and feeding program at Fr. William Masterson SJ Elementary School, Masterson Avenue, Cagayan de Oro City last May 14, 2015 morning.
The distribution of around 200 pieces of the Shoe Box Project of the employees of Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) was led by its Executive Director for Industry Affairs Mr. Raymund Lacdao, along with Ms. Kristelle Ong, head of the Philippine Call Center Institute in Cebu City, Ms. Stephanie P. Caragos, President of CDO ICT Business Council, and Mr. Dean Toro of Optimum Outsource Partners Inc.
The project, also called “My Dream in a Shoebox”, is currently on its 6th year of implementation across several areas in the country already. Supplies such as papers, pencils, crayons and other related-items needed by any pupil in school are placed inside shoe boxes that are wrapped and sealed.
Lacdao and the team were warmly greeted and welcomed by the school principal Ms. Sol P. Acheron, its teachers, and parents as they all came with excitement and anticipation for the event. A feeding program was provided after the distribution of the shoeboxes.
We would like to give special thanks to PCCI-CDO for introducing us to the program and bringing Mr. Raymund Lacdao to lead the distribution, Mr. Dean Toro and Ms. Merlyn Espinosa of Optimum Outsource Partners Inc. for generously sharing their resources in shipping the shoeboxes in CDO, and Ms. Stephanie Caragos of Syntactics Inc. for extending assistance in collaboration and providing transportation for our guests, and to the entire membership and stakeholders of the CDO ICT Business council for their unwavering support for all our activities and endeavors.
